Bruno Fosi has designed new Silicone Touch iPhone case for visually impaired people.
The Silicone Touch covers the phone's screen and features a selection of bas-relief buttons that correspond to menu items in a custom app, allowing those with diminished sight access to all the phone's functions, including multi-touch and finger flick scrolling.
The case would work with an accompanying iPhone app, allowing users to feel what they type and what icons they’re pressing. Multi-touch functions are not sacrificed, either, so all of your gestures and swipes will still be recognized.
Looks like a great idea if it can get off the ground and would bring the Apple iPhone to so many more people.
