The recent reports claim that Apple has finalized quality assurance examination on iOS 5.1 and will announce it together with the iPad 3 in just several hours’ time. The new version of iOS is said to comprise an augmented lock screen that gives easier admission to the camera, Japanese support for Siri – as previously rumored - and two more new features that have yet to be exposed.

A seep-out kind of the new OS was testified last month, featuring both – Japanese Siri and a ‘slide up to access camera’ gesture on the lock screen too. However, these two innovations does not account for “at least two other new features that have not been publicly leaked.” 

Although there are no actual evidences about what remains to be seen, the rumors have spread that there is at least one major feature of the iPad 3 that is yet to be unveiled and that was causing a delay in the launch of new beta versions of iOS 5.1.  There have even been some attempts at guesstimating what it might be here. Will it be Siri, Retina display requiring additional work to be ready or any new feature – will be unveiled soon, very soon.

On the other hand some reports claim that the build number of iOS 5.1 Gold Master is 9B176, which surprisingly has soon been signed by Apple yet. This confirms that any leaked screenshot would have to come from an official device authorized for testing. However, suspends our belief to see any glimpses till the actual event… As soon as iOS 5.1 is allegedly planned for release in the ‘coming days’ it is quite rational to conjecture that the update will be rolled after the iPad 3 announcement, but before it goes on sale.

But why would Apple, which sold 15.43 million full sized, full priced iPad 2 tablets last quarter alone, would complicate the app development process for developers or create yet another UI size for developers to target? Just to compete with Amazon’s Kindle Fire? It leaks logic a bit, but nothing is foreclosed at all…

And the last thing that sounds incredible- Ten One Design – which has a great reputation when it comes to accessories, has just announced that it is working on a pressure sensitive Bluetooth 4.0 stylus for the next generation iPad 3. However the question is whether the stylus will be coming with the next iPad in the box or will it be sold separately…

IPhone 5 to Be Released In October… Just Like iPhone 4S

Rumors about iPhone 5 and its releasing time are endless. Once iPhone 4S crushed the dreams about the next release of Apple phone  but the next generation iPhone is still newsworthy .

The fact is that iPhone 5 will surely come; the only thing stays blur is the date - when it will be released. As for now some rumors have spread which predicts that iPhone 5 will be produced in October, just as it was with the iPhone 4S in 2011.  This cycle is more likely to be kept for years.

Before releasing iPhone 4S, Apple historically held to a summer release cycle with the first iPhone hitting on June 29th (2007). The next releases of the iPhone 3G and 3GS were in middle July and late June. As for the iPhone 4, it was in released in June (2010) as well.

But after releasing iPhone 4S, everything has changed and the company switched to an October release windows. Moving away from the summer cycle they have been used to and taking the Holiday spot previously reserved for the iPod. As the matter of the fact, Apple has sold over 37 million iPhones in first quarter , it was likely a smart move and it makes sense for the company to continue on this path going forward. 

You should not be disappointed with the information because until October it is a little bit left. Before that you can enjoy with amazing iPhone 4S or even with iPhone 4 which has some feature(s) you might not know . iOS 5.1 Will Release Soon

Newly published carrier profiles are indicating iOS 5.1 will be released in March 9. Eleven new profiles have been discovered that are compatible with the update. 

The profiles that have been found are intended for operators in Japan, France, Greece, Finland and Sweden. After updating the profile on the iPhone, it will make sure that the network connection works correctly after Apple releases iOS 5.1.

Apple has been slowly leaking betas for weeks now, more slowly and less regularly than is usual for an iOS beta cycle. In previous years, the new version of Operating System would debut with the iPhone in June and the x.1 release with the iPod touch in September. As for this year, iOS5 did not debut until October with the iPhone 4S and there was no new iPod touch. That is why we are in uncharted territory here. 

According to leaks from the beta, it is not expected many new features to be included in iOS5.1. But anyway that sounds interesting because Apple has been known to hold back key features in the past, preferring to introduce them live on stage when unveiling some new devices.

The update will be available for the following devices: iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod Touch 3G/4G, iPad, and iPad 2.

One thing stays blur – whether March 9 is also the date when Apple will announce its next-generation iPad. Some rumors expect that Apple will release iOS5.1 simultaneously with the announcement of iPad3. Although, these are all rumors and it is hard to give a more exact indication about the update release date.

Endless Rumors About iPad

Rumors about the next generation of iPad are circulating constantly. Some sources say that it is scheduled the tablet to be published on March 29. One thing that claims its nearness is – iPad 3 books have been added to Amazon’s European site. 

BGR claims that a source had an iPad 3 prototype and sent some images that reveal more information about the device. The photos points to model numbers J1 and J2, which refers to iPad3,1 and iPad3,2. This means that iPad is supposedly to come in two versions – one for Wi-Fi and another with Wi-Fi and GSM/CDMA/LTE.

The images also reveal that Apple could be using a new processor called A6, model number S5L8945X. Probably this will be a powerful and extremely fast quad-core model. For comparison, the Apple A4 model was S5L8930X and the A5 is S5L8940X.

It was not indicated previously that the latest tablet from Apple would be called iPad, although, the images show that the device is being called iPad 3. But is should not be surprise if the tablet will be called iBoot.

As the matter of the fact iPads are so multiform, we do not want to part with them but sometimes we have to - when battery needs recharge; that is why one more important thing about the dream tablet is its improved battery (14,000 mAh) performance. It is expected the iPad3 will be featuring a battery that includes more than twice the capacity of the current iPad2 battery (6,500 mAh).

But the most important thing about the iPad 3 is our expectation about its speed – it is supposed to be faster than any other 'iDevice,' compatible with LTE, running on a quad-core chip and featuring a high-definition screen.

Expectations of iPhone 5  were great but after releasing iPhone 4S the situation  has calmed down and users were satisfied. Although imaginations about the dream phone was not unrealistic at all, because it was even designed   when it was scrapped.

As for now, a new round of iPhone 5 rumors  has begun. Some rumors say that iPhone5 will be launched in the fall 2012, similar release season of the iPhone 4S this year. 

It is said that Apple is planning to use a rubber or plastic metal to be built into the new iPhone case. Most probably this material will be used as a bezel surrounding in front of the phone, just like iPhone 3 GS bezel. It has to serve two purposes, first is to join the glass iPhone face with a new aluminum back plate; another reason is to cover a redesigned antenna system that surrounds the gadget, allowing the company to build the rear case out of aluminum without using a large plastic insert above the antennas.

In a word, according to the rumors, iPhone 5 will be redesigned completely, unlikely to the current iPhone 4S , which features the same iPhone 4 design. As for other characteristics of the gadget, we should wait other rumors before anything is said or done officially.

iPhone 5 launch date rumors are whirling again as a new report says an AT&T vice president has definite plans to launch the phone in early October.

AT&T sources had confirmed that a company vice president had told several employees the device would be out in early October. In addition, the executive told a group of managers to expect things to get busy during the next 35 to 50 days, asking them to prepare their teams consequently.While some sources within Apple suggest the next two months are going to be extremely busy, but can’t be more specific.

The device’s release date has been the focus of much anticipation on the web lately, with many more reports fluctuating between September and October as possible time frames for the launch. At the beginning of this month, All Things Digital said the next generation iPhone would come out in October. But just last week, a report from a Japanese website specified the device would be released in September, during a rumored Apple media event. Meanwhile, during his company’s last earnings call, Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam said he expected the phone out in the fall.

In the past, newer versions of the iPhone have typically been released during Apple’s summer Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). But that didn’t happen this year, following the release of the Verizon iPhone 4 in February.

Cheaper iCloud-Based iPhone?

The Apple rumor spread on Thursday is that the corporation will outline a low-cost iPhone 4 together with the iPhone 5. The new device will have significantly reduced flash storage, and may be so cheap to make that transporters offer it for free. The name will be not very creative: the iCloud iPhone.

The story seems to be well-sourced — Applenapps.com writer, Sheridan, claims to have verbal communication to three independent sources “who are all connected to Apple in different capacities,” and one of them seems to have given him the scoop on launch date ahead of time. 

Sheridan’s sources say the iCloud iPhone will “look like a small iPad,” and that it will retail for $400 — or no cash at all once you factor in the 2-year contract signup discount. The sources are a little short on particulars of exactly how this will rely on iCloud more than any other iPhone. In iOS5, iCloud will back up your entire phone, counting apps. But is Apple ready for a device that runs completely from the cloud, straight after the launch of the app?

With Android phones now beating iPhones, it wouldn’t be astonishing if Apple required boosting its market share on the low end — and having an iPhone that is free (with contract) would go a long way in the direction of that goal. We’re sure that the advertising genii at 1 Infinite Loop would want to include a catchword like iCloud in the phone’s title, as well as pushing the fact that you have access to your music and photos without actually having to upload them... But a memory-free iPhone seems exceedingly unlikely.

Shipping the Next iPhone starting in September

After that the tale that Apple won’t publicize the next-generation of iPhone in June or July (which was the case with all prior iPhone announcements) was spread, here arises a report that the new iPhone is in fact upcoming in the first month of the fall.

While Apple’s providers will begin manufacturing in July this year, the completed device is likely to begin shipping in September, Reuters reports, based on the  sources familiar with the matter.

As for what the definite augmentations of the next-gen iPhone, the details are limited as always; one of Reuters’ sources claims the device will look similar to the iPhone 4, but it will feature a faster processor.

To roughly summarize all the iPhone rumors and reports we’ve heard so far, this is what we can conclude: the white version of the iPhone 4 should become available within 2-3 weeks; the iPhone 5 (if that’s what Apple will call it) will be an evolutionary advancement, visually similar to the iPhone 4 but with a better camera, processor and a bigger display.

Deutsche Telekom Expecting NFC-Enabled iPhone This Year

With rumors suggesting that Apple may add near field communication (NFC) capabilities to the fifth-generation iPhone to enable mobile payments. According to Phone Scoop, Deutsche Telekom today gave a presentation at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona outlining its adoption of NFC technology for mobile payments, and during the course of the presentation noted that it expects an NFC-enabled device from Apple to debut sometime this year.

Deutsche Telekom announced that it expects NFC phones in 2011 from Apple, Samsung in Q2, and RIM & LG in Q3. The company expects mobile payments replacing cash to be the most popular use for NFC technology, followed by mobile ticketing for services such as public transportation.Engadget clarified with the report's author that the mention of Apple was included on a slide in the presentation, although Apple was not included in a press release from Deutsche Telekom describing its mobile payments initiative among other topics associated with Mobile World Congress.

It is of course unknown whether Deutsche Telekom representatives were simply speculating based on the existing NFC-enabled iPhone rumors, or if they have additional information that may have been gleaned from testing with the new device.

Paint Problems of White iPhone 4 Appear to Be True..

Rumours about the white iPhone 4's eventual release date continue till today. Recently we have seen further evidence of the handset in supposed carrier inventories. But still, a solid day when we can go out and pick one up has not been announced yet.

You may remember that Apple cited the release delays as problems with application of the white paint. Many speculated in fact that they were working on fixing the slew of antenna problems that the iPhone 4 had on release. Others acclaimed Apple's paint announcement to be false. Either way it ensured that the white iPhone4 has now become one of the must have but yet to be released gadgets of this year.

With the help of too many information on the web, we can now find truth in Apple's white paint difficulties. According to the majority of sites, specified printing white color for iPhone 4 brings poor yield and then huge number of defective products. This is what disturbs to start manufacturing.

This is not the first time that Apple has had problems with white products. You may remember the rumors about the 3GS, that they would turn pink if overheated. It seems toasty iPhones were changing colour after extended periods of use and strain on the CPU.

Next Generation iPhone is about to be knocking at the door

More over that declaration might be true bearing in mind the fact that the dates of contracts signed by many owners of iPhone 3G through AT&T are now about to expire, thus giving them new possibilities with new agreements. Apple might have just waited for that before releasing a new product.

Anyway all that we can do just guess and predict a new exciting device from Apple which hopefully will be much better than the previous ones.

Does a 4GB iPhone Make Sense?

Rumors about Apple building a 4GB iPhone ain't that fresh. However, according to an UBS analyst Maynard Um, supply chain checks suggest that Apple is building an iPhone with 4GB of memory. So, these rumors can pretty well turn into reality. But wait, does it make sense to introduce a 4GB model?

The only reason why a company can offer a slightly cut down product is to sell it at a lower price. In terms of costs, there shall not be a big difference between pouring in 4GB of memory instead of 8GB. After all, memory is not that expensive today. Let's speculate, what a possible price difference can be between the currently available 8GB and the rumored 4GB models. Can it be $10 or maybe $50? Slight difference makes no sense. Considerable difference is even bigger nonsense because this decision would cannibalize the current offering. I am confident Apple won't do that. So, we can logically conclude that the average price of both the 8GB and 16GB models will go down. iPod Touch shall get cheaper as well.

In the end, it makes sense to introduce the third (4GB) model and at the same time cut prices on the current models. After all, in terms of contract revenues, it does not matter whether a 4GB, 8GB or a 16GB model is sold.

Intel Moorestown for Mobile Internet Devices

Intel revealed a Moorestown-based Mobile Internet Device (MID) product at the recent Intel Developer Forum (IDF) San Francisco. In terms of functionality, Intel's MID platform is similar to Apple's iPhone. The Moorestown platform is expected to launch in 2009. According to rumours, Apple is considering developing an iPhone based on it.

Google Phone: Myth or Reality?

Recently the Wall Street Journal has reported that Google was showing a prototype mobile phone to cell phone manufacturers and cellular service providers.

The search engine giant's entering in the mobile communication's market won't be extremely unexpected. After all, we have a precedent of Apple introducing iPhone.

At the moment the information about the "Google Phone" is just a rumor. But some rumors are quite in a range of possibility and frequently materialize. If this is the case with "Google Phone", we may see in a couple of months.

Personally I do not see a reason why Google could not produce a high class mobile phone. If Apple succeeded in it, why Google should not? Moreover, if we take into account the innovative and sometimes rather wild ideas coming out of the Google Labs, the Google's cell phone may really become an iPhone killer.
