Today, I’m going to review The New York "At a Glance" Guide, which comprise a selection of the most important points of interest of the city which have been selected and checked by experts on trips. (Have to mention that screenshots are from the Barcelona Guide.)

For each POI you are offered a wide range of information which includes their address, phone number, e-mail address, location - to be located on the map or to show the route from your location -, the nearest car parks and underground stations, a picture, the editor's classification, and ticket prices, among the most important details. It is also possible to add this information to your device's address book - so you won't have to add it by hand - as well as send it to other users by e-mail.
In the "Categories" section, New York "At a Glance" Guide allows sorting the reference required by type - history and culture, what to see, eating out, shopping, accommodation, and night life and etc. (police stations, hospitals, pharmacies, metro Stations, parking, petrol stations, taxis, car rental, post offices, embassies and consulates, courthouses)

In the "Routes" section the guide also shows different itineraries to do on foot - Saturday morning, afternoon and evening, Sunday morning, afternoon and evening, and the same with other days in the week. This section is not added yet but it will be available for this guide soon. The guide also has an "Out of route, but..." section with those points of interest that are not included in the several itineraries. Also, the "What's nearby?" section makes it possible to select all those POI located at less than a given distance and therefore have a quick access to their details. On the other hand, New York "At a Glance" Guide also helps you to know what can be done at a given moment via their section "What to do now?", where different options among the whole reference database will be suggested depending on the point at which you are located or the time of the day at which the query is done.
