Ustream – New possibilities to broadcast important events in live

Recently Ustream released a new app - Ustream Live Broadcaster, available for iPhone and iPod Touch. As compared with its previous video-recording and viewing iPhone apps, it’s much more advanced as it allows true live broadcasting to multiple viewers right from the place of an event.

Imagine that you can be the first to broadcast your favorite rock Star’s live gig, or a president’s speech or some extraordinary incident. Besides the viewers can use chat and leave comments. The application requires the iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS with iPhone OS 3.1 or later. Recordings can be shared on Ustream, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. You can include your GPS location with the broadcast as well. Videos saved to Ustream (or the social networking sites) are as well available for watching later and video quality is quite normal for the phone. And the greatest news is that this app is FREE and available at app stores.
