No adult content is allowed on iPhone and now this is official. At least that's what Apple's Tom Neumayr said, according to CNN. "Apple will not distribute applications that contain inappropriate content, such as pornography.", says Neumayr.
Interestingly, "Hottest Girls", an adult application, was already approved by Apple when the application hit the App Store. However, the application was quickly removed from the App Store.
To be honest, I don't care much whether adult content is present at the App Store or not as long as there is proper parental control system in place.
One way or another, this will be bad news for developers who are already working on adult applications and I think it would have been nice of Apple if they had warned developers earlier.
